Why people practice in Aikido dojo Uzumaki?
What I really appreciate about Aikido dojo Uzumaki is the dynamic environment, the relatively small number of people attending each lesson and also the possibility to compare my skills with others in a friendly atmosphere. I also appreciate that the lessons are held in the late evening.
It is because of the immediacy of communication, the friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the professional level of each lesson, that I come again and again to train in our dojo.
After four years of training in Aikido dojo Uzumaki, I have the feeling that it was tailor-made for me. No more than ten people gather four times a week to train Aikido in the late evenings. The sensei not only treats us in a way that makes me feel he is one of the students, but also is very bright, calm, patient and friendly. After a long and arduous day at school Aikido dojo Uzumaki provides me with active physical relaxation, amazing people to talk to and, after all, an opportunity to exercise.
This dojo is characteristic with its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Some of the traditional (and from my point of view unnecessary) methods, enforced by various martial arts schools cannot be found here. You learn new things during the exercise itself; you are able to harmonize the pace of your exercise and your current physical possibilities. It is possible for every aikidoka - beginner or advanced - to try to cope with rather sophisticated techniques, which would be made inaccessible to him in other dojos. What's more, you have the opportunity to do so under the Sensei's (or an experienced fellow student's) supervision. I sincerely hope my work will soon allow me to attend the lessons again and therefore - Sayonara on tatami.
